Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive expertise in the FICO (Finance and Controlling) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules. As an integral member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative SAP solutions that align with our client’s specific business needs. Your proficiency in ABAP programming and in-depth knowledge of FICO and SD functionalities will be instrumental in enhancing our clients’ SAP systems and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.
- Design, develop, and enhance custom ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces to support FICO and SD processes.
- Utilize your expertise in the FICO module to customize and optimize financial accounting, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profit center accounting processes.
- Leverage your knowledge of the SD module to enhance sales order processing, pricing, billing, and shipping functionalities.
- Implement and support inbound and outbound interfaces, including those related to banking interfaces and external system integrations.
- Participate in data migration projects, including FI data conversion objects, to ensure seamless data transfer between SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and performance tuning to ensure the stability and optimal performance of ABAP developments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and user experience.
- Provide technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to educate team members and end-users on newly developed solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant with a focus on FICO and SD modules, preferably with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including developing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP FICO, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling modules.
- In-depth understanding of SAP SD processes, including sales order management, pricing, billing, and delivery.
- Experience in integrating SAP with external systems and handling banking interfaces and iDocs.
- Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques in the context of SAP implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
